Foster Care Project

Bridge of Love has 40 children currently in foster care. Most of the children were abandoned at birth and spent their early lives living in an orphanage or hospital. They now live with foster families where they are nurtured and loved.

Bridge of Love provides:

  • A team of professional social workers, a psychologist, and a teacher who work with the children and their parents for therapy, behavior management skills, and academic assistance.
  • An office building for the Bridge of Love staff which also includes a therapy/playroom, a toy library, and a clothing/supply room.
  • New clothing, shoes, medical help, vitamins, eye glasses, etc.
  • Social activities and summer camps.
  • Birthday and Christmas presents.
  • Supplemental salary to families with more than one foster child.
  • $25 monthly to foster parent for the child’s needs.

Bridge to Success Teen Project

Bridge of Love works with older teens as they prepare to leave the orphanage. They typically have no home or job available, so they need assistance to help them have skills to become independent.

Bridge of Love provides:

  • Social workers to help teens with life skills and to set goals.
  • Computers for teens to use for assistance with their homework.
  • An apartment and food for those who must leave the orphanage.
  • Birthday and Christmas presents.
  • New clothing, shoes, school supplies, medical needs.
  • $25 monthly for personal needs.
