Mihai was born on May 11, 2002. He stayed in Barlad Children’s Hospital until August 15, 2002 when he was placed in a home for foster care. His foster mother is a single woman and has enjoyed the opportunity to nurture Mihai. She reads books on child care and spends a lot of time helping Mihai grow and develop.

Mihai is a very active boy, and would love to be on the go all day long. He is learning to speak and says simple first words: mama, pa (bye), etc. He doesn’t like to eat very well, but is healthy and strong. He has learned to wave “good-bye” and loves watching the TV and anything that is new.
