Mihaela was born December 30th, 1997, in Vaslui. She was then transferred to Tutova Hospital where she lived very much in her own world. Mihaela did not like to be held by people, and when placed in the playroom, would stand on her head in the corner.

Mihaela left Tutova in July, 2001, to live at Barlad Children’s Hospital where she would receive therapy at Cristi’s School, Bridge of Love’s school for autistic children. The therapy was conducted daily in a room in the hospital.

Bridge of Love found a loving foster family to care for Mihaela and on April 11th, 2002, she was taken from the small hospital room and placed with her new family.

Mihaela continues to attend Cristi’s School, where she not only receives her ABA therapy, but she participates in the new Kinder Class. Mihaela loves to talk, color, play, and do many things that every 5 year old girl enjoys.
