Ionut was born February 16, 2000, in Barlad, Romania. He lived in Barlad Maternity until he was transferred to Tutova Hospital, where he stayed for the next two years. Ionut left Tutova on January 24, 2002, for his new life with a foster family in Barlad.

As our social worker puts it, “Ionut is a very handsome little boy, with blonde hair, green eyes, and a happy face.” Ionut’s language skills are progressing each day. He understands everything and is now composing short sentences.

Ionut loves to play with toy cars and he loves to travel by train. His favorite foods are candy and bubble gum. He’s very attached to his foster mother and foster father.

This past year, an abandonment trial was held regarding Ionut, and the proceedings are completed. He is now available for adoption.
