Ionela just turned one year old on June 21, 2003. She was at Barlad Children’s Hospital before she was placed in foster care on April 24, 2003. She has a foster mother and a foster sister, Carmina.

Ionela is just starting to speak and thrills her new family with her Romanian vocabulary: mama, papa, yes, bye, etc.

Her favorite foods are meat, apples, and biscuits. Ionela is a very sweet child and loves music and dancing. She is starting to take her first steps.
