Dumitru was born on May 9th, 2000. He lived in the distrofici in the village of Tutova until April of 2004, when he was placed in his new foster home.

He now lives in Barlad with his foster mother and brother, Cozmin, who he absolutely adores. They are best friends and spend every spare moment playing together.
