David was born December 20, 1997, in Barlad. He lived at Barlad Maternity until he was transferred to Tutova Hospital in a small village. David lived at Tutova until he was four years old and was placed in foster care in Barlad.

David is a very smart and handsome little boy. He attends kindergarten and has made a lot of progress with his language and behavior. He has become a calmer child since going into foster care and has learned to obey rules.

David is very close to his foster mother and his foster sister, Oana. His favorite toys are cars, and he loves to watch cartoons. He enjoys music and can sing many of the popular Romanian songs. He has entertained many American volunteers with his singing and dancing as he pretends to be a concert performer.
