Beatrice was born on August 27, 2001. A sweet baby with Down Syndrome, Beatrice lived at Barlad Children’s Hospital and then Orphanage #3 before being placed in foster care. When placed in foster care on January 16, 2003, Beatrice’s diet consisted of only liquids and she could only lie in a crib. She has been receiving physical therapy since leaving the orphanage, and can now walk with support. She eats solid foods and loves most things. She is a very loving and obedient child.

Beatrice’s foster mother takes time to always make her look beautiful. Her clothing and hairdo’s or hats are always very cute. Beatrice has a contagious laugh and can really get laughing when she thinks something is funny.

This wonderful and sweet little girl is starting to talk, loves to sing and dance, and enjoys watching TV.
