Anca, unlike twin brother George, was a tiny and sick baby. She lived on a floor in Barlad Children’s Hospital separate from the other abandoned babies, where she could receive medical attention. When Anca was placed with George in foster care, she was still very tiny and immobile.

Anca flourished under the care of her new foster family. She immediately put on weight. Her hair grew in dark and curly. She started to fatten-up. She soon learned to sit, crawl, and then walk. Within a few short months, Anca was a different child.

Anca loves to dance and sing. Her foster mother bought a tape with children’s music which both Anca and brother George enjoy. Life is always busy at their home!!!
