Ana-Maria was born on April 5th, 2002. She lived at Barlad Children’s Hospital until April 20th, 2003, when she was placed in foster care. She was never visited by her natural mother.

Ana-Maria is living in the foster home where Vasile, another Bridge of Love child, had been placed. Vasile’s natural family returned for him after four years, and it was difficult for the foster family to have him leave. Ana Maria is very happy in this home.

Ana-Maria is walking and talking. She eats well and has put on some weight since leaving the hospital. She loves to play outside and runs after the chickens in the family’s yard. She has been very healthy since living with her new family.
